Zane is a second-year student at the College of Further Education, studying Level 2 & 3 in Site Carpentry. He embarked on this four-year course after completing City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery. Zane enjoys being part of a team completing projects to a high standard and likes that the industry is changing to incorporate future designs and concepts. ‘It’s so satisfying to see your work as a finished product,’ he said. He is hoping to further his studies in the future with a view to a management role. Other staff members view Zane as a willing, focused and interested member of staff, never afraid to ask questions. Outside of work, he enjoys socialising with friends and tinkering with car engines.
